我們是一群熱衷於模擬聯合國的學生。我們在乎這個社會，並希望可以透過與大家分享我們在模聯所學到的知識貢獻在台灣模聯圈子上。
Who are we?
We are a group of students composed of MUN enthusiasts who care about our society and wish to contribute to the MUN community in Taiwan by sharing the knowledge we have attained through our diverse MUN experiences.
我們為什麼要建立這個網頁？
模擬聯合國（簡稱為模聯）創立的起因是基於下一代學生有能力可以透過模聯來改變這個世界。我們了解這一點，因此除了強調模聯不只是一個比賽或交友的會議，也是個能夠讓學生瞭解他們在這個地球村擁有對社會責任的重要性。當我們在會議裡享受，我們希望能夠同時從中學習，並加以運用你們所學到的在自己的生活裡。The Munual就是為此而創立的。
當參與模聯會議的同時，我們有機會認識許多很有能力的代表，所以身為瘋模聯的學生，我們希望可以透過創立這個網站來啟發各地的學生。不論學校大小、不論公私立、不論性別、不論年齡，只要你喜歡模聯、對模聯有興趣，都歡迎你來到我們的網站；希望我們能在你的模聯生涯中助你一臂之力。
我們非常熱愛模聯，而當參與不同會議時，我們發現許多已經近乎完美的會議缺少一些能夠將此變得更美好的方面。所以，在完成設立網站後，我們開始設計可持續發展的訓練課程，目的是為了協助任何學校的模聯社發展- 無論資源分布或經驗。我們這樣做就是為了塑造出一個完美的模聯環境，讓大家能夠玩的開心以及從此學習。
我們也希望可以分享從模聯獲取的經驗和知識，尤其是國際觀，給所有獲得極少到沒有機會獲取的人，讓他們能夠在未來為這個社會有所貢獻。我們的經驗分享會位於本網站的部落格區。
Our Mission & Goal: Why did we create The Munual?
Model United Nations (MUN) was created based on the idea that students of the next generation, through MUN, have the ability to change this world. Recognising this, we wanted to promote MUN as something far more than a mere competition or social event; rather, as a place where students recognises the importance of themselves in this interconnected global community and their responsibilities they have in the society. While having fun, we wanted you to learn from the conference, and further implement those lessons in your everyday lives. For that, the Munual was created.
While attending MUN conferences, we have seen many great delegates, so we, MUN fanatics, have decided to create a website in order to assist you–regardless of gender, age, or school– in your journey towards become the best.
We love MUN very much, and while attending different conferences around Taiwan, we notice that in all of the awesome conferences we had been to, there is still something missing here and there that could make the already-great conference better. So, in addition to the website, we are moving on to designing sustainable training programs that can assist any school in their development of MUN. It would be applicable to any and all schools, regardless of resources or experience. Our goal for this is to assist schools in creating the perfect environment for all MUNers to enjoy, learn, and have fun in.
We also wanted to share the experiences and knowledge obtained from participating in MUN, particularly international mindedness, with everyone else who had little to no access to these insights, so they can further contribute to the global community in the future. We share these experiences mainly in the blog section.

認識 The Munual 的幕後人物!
Azim Butt 洪偉
Azim Khurram Butt is a student studying at the International Bilingual School at Tainan Science Park. He barely ever smiles, but underneath his serious demeanor, he’s actually a super friendly cat lover with a passion for contemporary history and current events. With a passion for international affairs and unmistakable drive to seek out more ways to help his community, Azim definitely embodies the spirit of MUN. Besides participating in numerous other events, including an initiative to translate global affairs for a Taiwanese audience, he also enjoys listening to music on his personal time. Azim is also a product of a bicultural, bilingual family; making him half Pakistani. He enjoys getting involved in heated debates on contentious issues. Feel free to approach him if you ever find yourself needing new ideas!
洪偉目前是位就讀於南科實中雙語部的高三生。他出生於一個雙文化的雙語家庭（是台灣與巴基斯坦的混血兒！)。雖然通常都不見他微笑，但是在他嚴肅的外表之下，其實是個非常友善的愛貓人士，而且對當代歷史與現今情勢有非常大的興趣。洪偉對國際關係有很大的興趣，也一直想盡辦法能改變這個社會；這些都使洪偉足以代表模聯的精神。除了參加相當多的活動(包括創立了翻譯英文國際新聞的組織)，洪偉在他休閒時也非常喜歡聽音樂來放鬆心情。他也很享受與人辯論爭議性議題時的感覺。當你覺得自己需要新點子的時候，請不要感到害羞或遲疑，歡迎來找他聊聊！
Timmy Chang 張樂凡
Timmy is a freshman at the University of British Columbia hoping to major in international relations with a law and society minor. During high school in Taiwan, he has participated in numerous conferences and was an executive of his school’s Model UN club, with such, he definitely hopes to continue his Model UN journey during the upcoming college years! To him, Model UN was a change, which made him found his passion in international affairs and extend his social circle to infinity, which is why he hopes to spread the joy and influence of Model UN around Taiwan through the Munual! Besides joining conferences, he also did TEDx and the World Scholar’s Cup. Aside from academics, he tries to not overwhelm himself from procrastination, enjoys traveling to new countries, tries new, bizarre foods, and binge watches Netflix during his free (busy, work-piled) time. With a new school year coming up, he is looking forward to everything the Munual’s ready to offer!
樂凡是英屬哥倫比亞大學的大一新生，主修國際關係並且輔修法律和社會學。 他在台灣的高中期間參加了許多會議，也曾擔任學校模擬聯合國設的執行長。他期望在將到來的大學時期能夠持續他在模聯的旅程！參與模擬聯合國讓他發現了他對國際事務的熱情，也讓他的社交圈擴大到無限，這就是為什麼他希望通過The Munual來傳播示範聯合國在台灣的喜悅和影響！ 除了模擬聯合國，他還很熱衷於TEDx和World Scholar’s Cup。 在繁忙的學業之外，他享受前往新國家，嘗試各種奇異的美食，以及在閒暇時間狂看Netflix。 隨著新學年的到來，他期待著The Munual準備提供給大家的一切！
Andre Hsu 許紹禹
Andre is high school junior currently studying Japan at UWC ISAK Japan. He started doing MUN back in grade 8 when he was dragged in to fill a vacancy. However, he has since fallen in love with MUN and has grown to appreciate the intricate art in public speaking that is MUN. Alongside debate, doing MUN has allowed him to practice public speaking, while also giving him the experience of working with others and utilizing each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Some of his best memories happened on MUN trips, and as such he looks forward to participating in MUN conferences in Japan, despite how bleak that prospect is. Andre really enjoys helping others, which is why he hopes he’ll help make an impact by joining the Munual. He hopes to use his literacy in technology to facilitate others in spreading the great gospel of MUN.
紹禹目前就讀日本北佐久郡軽井沢町長倉聯合學院的高二生。他國二為了利用空閒時間而開始參與模聯會議，且如此地愛上了模聯以及開始欣賞模聯會議之中必備的細緻演講技巧。有如參與辯論賽，模聯使他能夠訓練演講技能，也給予他與他人一起分工合作時學習採用他人的優點之經驗。他認為他在參與模聯會議的旅途中創造出許多他人生中巨大的回憶，且希望他在日本能夠持續地參與模聯。紹禹因為樂於助人而希望能夠從加入The Munual協助更多人。他希望能透過他對科技的了解而協助推廣模擬聯合國。
Audrey Hsu 許庭瑀
Audrey Hsu is a very lost college freshman living in San Diego (no, she does not go to UCSD, stop asking) and studying business and management. To all her debate friends, she does Model UN because she believes that it is the easiest entry into English public speaking, compared to World Scholar’s Cup and debate. However, she thinks that because of relatively easy entry, a lot of people do not take it seriously enough. That is why she joined the Munual a year ago to improve the MUN environment in Taiwan. She hopes to facilitate a friendlier and more academic atmosphere. Some examples are continuously editing the Munual website with her amazing team members and answering any MUN questions she receives (she replies strangers faster than her friends, so feel free to ask her any questions!). In her five years of high school, besides from being asked why is she still in school, she also attended countless conferences. She hopes that she can use her past experiences in Model UN to help influence the world one step at a time. After Audrey achieves greatness in this lifetime, she aspires to be a sloth her next life because all she needs to do is eat and sleep and people will comment on how cute she is.
許庭瑀是一名非常無助的大學新生，目前住在聖地亞哥（不，她不是念加州大學聖地牙哥分校，不要再問了）學習商業和管理。她想對他所有辯論的朋友說，她會參加模擬聯合國是因為她認為這和世界學者杯與辯論比起來是更容易進入英語公開演講的管道。不過，她認為由於相對於比較容易參與，很多人並不會認真對待。這就是為什麼她一年前加入了The Munual，目的是為了改善台灣的模聯環境。她希望促進更友善和更學術的氛圍。例如和她厲害的團隊成員不斷地編輯和更新The Munua的網站，並回答她所收到任何有關模聯問題（她回復陌生人速度比回她朋友快，所以隨時歡迎問她任何問題！）在她五年的高中生涯中，除了常被問到為什麼還沒畢業以外，她還參加無數次模聯會議。她希望她能夠利用她過去在模擬聯合國的經驗來一點一滴的影響世界。庭瑀在這生中獲得了巨大的成就後，她希望投胎成樹懶，因為她只需吃飯和睡覺，人們就會評論說多麼可愛。
Ginny Hwang 黃智敏
Ginny is a junior at Dominican International School and the president of her school’s Model United Nation club. Having participated in MUN since she was a middle school student, Ginny has been able to not only meet a wide range of like-minded students but has also learned valuable skills through the activity. She is an advocate for social justice and hopes to be able to forward such a message through discourse and debate. Ginny is half-Korean and half-Taiwanese but has lived in Taiwan her whole life. However, she believes that her identity has been largely crafted by both cultures’ influences. In addition to MUN, Ginny is also the editor-in-chief of her school’s literary and arts magazine, the president of She’s the First, an organization supporting female education, a member of the student council, as well as an active participant of various other programs both in and out of school. She wishes to help promote and contribute towards the MUN community through her role in The Munual.
黃智敏是道明外僑國際學校的高二生，她也是學校模擬聯合國社的社長。當她還是一名國中學生時她就參加了模擬聯合國，智敏不僅廣泛遇見志同道合的學生，而且還通過這項活動學到了寶貴的技能。她是社會正義的倡導者，並希望能夠通過討論和辯論轉發這樣的信息智敏有著一半韓國和一半台灣的血統，但至目前， 她大都住在台灣為主。不過，她認為，她的身份主要是受到兩種文化的影響。除模聯之外，智敏還是她學校文學和藝術雜誌的主編。此外，她是”She’s the First” 的創辦和會長，這是一個支持女性教育的組織。她更是學生委員會的成員以及校內和校外各種活動的積極參與者。她希望通過她在The Munual中的角色來推動並促進為模聯做出貢獻。
May Lee 李受玭
May is a senior at Hsinchu American School (HAS) and the president of her Model UN club. She has been participating in MUN conferences since 8th grade around Taiwan and East Asia. She was born in the Republic of Korea but moved to Taiwan in 7th grade. She tries her best to speak Chinese, but she always gets laughed at here and there from her friends. May first joined Model UN to improve her English proficiency (like many first-timers) but ended up enjoying the extracurricular activity more than anyone expected and decided to take it to the next level. It is her first time joining an inter-school MUN organization, and she is extremely excited to do many projects in the Munual!
受玭是就讀新竹美國學校的高三生，也是校內模擬聯合國社的現任社長。她從國二就開始參加台灣以及東亞的模聯會議。她出生於南韓，但國一的時候搬來台灣。她每次都很努力的學習說中文，但常常被朋友笑。受玭一開始參加模聯的原因有如很多模聯新手一樣，是為了增進英文能力，但之後出乎意料的很享受這活動並且決定要更加一層的了解模聯。首次加入由各校合成的模聯組織的她，非常期待與The Munual一起參各種活動！
Sidney Tsai 蔡心榆
Sidney Tsai is a junior in high school and homeschooler/student at Ginling Girls’ High School. She was born in the States but moved to Indonesia and Taiwan when she was in 4th grade. She has been avidly participating in Model UN since 7th grade and believes that it has opened many opportunities for her and helped her grow in many aspects. Through MUN, she has had the pleasure of meeting amazing people and learning many useful skills that she would not have learned otherwise just sitting in a classroom at school. Thus, with the intention of assisting the MUN community in Taiwan, she joined the Munual last year. MUN aside, she also actively participates in numerous of extracurricular activities; such as doing volunteer work, participating in governmental immigration-related programs, and being an editor of the school’s paper, etc. In her free time, she enjoys reading, trying new foods, watching horror movies, and watching cute animal videos on Instagram.
蔡心榆是高二的學籍在金陵女中的自學生。她出生在美國，但在四年級的時候搬去印尼以及台灣。她自從七年級就一直熱衷參與模擬聯合國，並相信模聯除了給予接觸新東西的機會也促使她在許多方面成長。透過模擬聯合國，她很榮幸地認識到眾多有才華的人，並學習到在學校教室裡學不到的技能。為了協助台灣的模擬聯合國活動，在去年的時候加入了The Munual。除了模聯以外，她還積極參與眾多課外活動；例如：參與志工活動、政府移民相關活動、校刊編輯社等。她喜歡利用空閒的時間閱讀、品嚐美食、看恐怖片和在Instagram上看可愛的動物視頻。
